Description

Description

Zelh is a fast-growing, passionate outsourcing company.

Our mission is to be the most reliable company by offering and maintaining consistently high-quality services.

We achieve the mission by fostering long-term relationships with customers, employees, and vendors. Personal attention, timely communication, and respect for all people are the basis of our business philosophy!

At this point, Zelh is looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst (Part Time) to join our client’s team.

Responsibilities:

Maintain existing Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models

Triage and fix breakages: failed refreshes, broken visuals, DAX errors, gateway issues, upstream schema changes

Write and optimize SQL against our SQL Server warehouse to source new datasets

Build new reports and modify existing ones as Finance and Ops request them

Update the data model when source tables change: add tables, adjust relationships, document what you touched

Monitor scheduled refreshes and flag recurring issues with a root-cause fix, not a patch

Working model:

Async-first with a weekly 30-minute check-in with the Director of Finance

Ticket-based intake for new requests; SLA targets agreed up front (e.g., critical break = same business day; new report = 5–10 business days depending on scope)

Monthly summary of work completed, hours used, and backlog

Required

5+ years building and maintaining production Power BI in business environments

Strong SQL on SQL Server (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)

Fluent in DAX and Power Query (M)

Dimensional modeling fundamentals

Self-directed. You diagnose, decide, and ship without hand-holding

Clear written communication. You document what you changed and why

Nice to have

Prior fractional or consulting experience with mid-market companies

Manufacturing, CPG, or nutraceuticals exposure

ERP data familiarity (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics, Sage, etc.)

Power BI service administration (workspaces, gateways, deployment pipelines)
